clean and decent place - helpful and funny front desk guy - easy to find - provided entry code and left note for late check-in - woke up to lovely church music - on a bus route - very easy to get anywhere - convenient breakfast with nice fresh pastries - bread, and hot options - very nice staff - clean room with good hot water - electric metal shutter for window - kept light and noise out at night - able to open window when it got warm

I had a great stay at this hotel! The value for the money was excellent and the room was clean and tidy. The location was convenient and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast offerings could be improved, maybe by offering a wider variety of options.

Bed uncomfortable. More importantly there was no Wi-Fi, despite advertising it as available, which was the only reason I chose the Balladins. I shall not book with Balladins again

Just off the main ski route have a steak house attached which did good food- comfortable and quiet we stayed on our way to Alpe d'huez and its excellent only an hour in the morning to the slopes.

The toaster is under the fire alarm and one of our party set it off which they could not turn it off which meant we woke the whole hotel when leaving!

Clean and cozy rooms with comfortable beds. Close to the city center, with easy transportation options. Good breakfast and friendly staff.

I thought the location was brilliant. I liked the fact that there was free onsite parking and the beakfast was very reasonable - 7.50 Euros for a good continental breakfast with great pastries is good value for money in my book.

There was no bath plug in our bathroom when we arrived.

Easy to locate: just near the motorway exit, even if somewhat tricky to drive into it because of the 4 lane avenue, you have to find a way to turn around / Good air conditioning and noise insulation: it was quiet and cool in the room / Loved the orange pressing machine at breakfast / Good basic facilities

Asked for hot water for tea at breakfast and got tepid water (au petit-dej, la serveuse nous a apporté un thermos d'eau tiède pour faire du thé) / Receptionist gave completely wrong directions to find one of the main streets in town

Felt very well, no complaints.

The location meant we could be riding in the mountains within 30 minutes or sat in a restaurant within 15.

Easy to find, the resuarant was very good, the room was basic but adequate for an overnight stay. the air conditioning was a bonus as it was a very warm day when I was there, I will use the hotel again. I also liked the secure paking facility.
